Who we are

The Room Bar Bali, Jl. Pantai Berawa No.102, Tibubeneng, Kuta Utara, Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect

Reservation form: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email if you give it, date, time, number of guests, occasion, preferred language and any notes.

Feedback form (QR code at the table): your answers, the table number, your name and contact details if you leave them, and any photos or videos you upload. Uploaded files are stored privately and never published.

Messages you send us on WhatsApp, Instagram, by email or by phone.

Website analytics (Google Analytics): pages viewed, device type and approximate location, collected with cookies only if you accept them. To protect our forms from spam, we briefly use your IP address.

Why we use it

To confirm and manage your booking, and to send confirmations and reminders on WhatsApp or by email, as you chose.

To answer your feedback and fix what went wrong.

To understand which pages are useful and improve the website, if you allow analytics.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising without your consent. We use it because you asked us for something (a booking or a reply), because of our legitimate interest in running a safe venue, or with your consent (analytics and marketing cookies).

Who we share it with

Providers that run the services above for us, only for that purpose: WhatsApp and our email provider for booking messages, Telegram for alerts to our team, Google Analytics if you allow it, and our website host. Some of them store data outside Indonesia.

If you book through Chope or another platform, that platform’s own privacy policy applies to the data you give them.

Authorities, only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Booking details, feedback and uploaded files: 24 months after your visit, then we delete or anonymise them. Analytics: Google Analytics keeps data for up to 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you your personal data, correct it, delete it or give you a copy, and to stop or limit how we use it; you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us using the contacts below. We give access to your data or correct it within 3 × 24 hours, as Indonesian law requires, and answer other requests without undue delay.

We process personal data in line with Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022) and, for guests from the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can also complain to a data protection authority.

Cookies

Necessary cookies and browser storage keep the site working: your language and your cookie choice. Analytics (Google Analytics) and marketing cookies are set only after you accept them in the cookie banner; until then Google’s tags run in a restricted mode without cookies. You can change your choice at any time: Cookie settings.

The map on our pages is Google Maps. It loads only after you accept all cookies or press “Show the map”; Google then receives your IP address and may set its own cookies.

Children

Our website, bookings and feedback form are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you think a child has sent us personal data, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes and contact
